Attorney Prosser is a lifetime resident of Perry County and a 1988 Graduate of Newport High School. He is a 1992 Honors Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he studied writing and psychology. Attorney Prosser attained his doctorate of law in 1995 as a graduate of Widener University School of Law.
Kevin began his law practice in central Pennsylvania immediately following graduation from law school. He opened his own law office in 2004. Kevin has practiced exclusively in Perry, Juniata, Mifflin, Dauphin and Cumberland Counties since that time. Kevin is a member of the Federal Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Kevin is a past president of the Perry County Bar and the chair of the Perry County Family Law Committee.
Kevin remains actively involved in the community. Kevin’s great
love is teaching his and other people's children. He has
instructed children in martial arts, coached pee wee football and
youth soccer, and has been a leader in Perry County 4-H. He also
enjoys working on home improvement projects, owns several other
businesses including a seasonal haunted house and a supervised
child visitation center, and is a season ticket holder and devoted
fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. Kevin
resides in Newport, Perry County, with his wife Jessica, his three
children, his two step-children, and his loyal companion
Brittany Shetter is lifetime resident of Perry County, and a Newport High School graduate, class of 2007. Brittany is a 2011 graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she received a degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a focus in History. Brittany received her Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law in 2015.
Brittany’s legal practice focuses on Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Bankruptcy. She regularly represents clients as a public defender and accepts Children and Youth court appointments in both Perry and Juniata counties. Brittany is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Perry County Bar Association, and she is admitted to practice in the Federal Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Brittany is also actively involved in the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
In her spare time, Brittany enjoys yoga, running, and home-brewing beer.
Jo is a 2010 graduate of Twin Valley High School, located near Philadelphia. Following graduation Jo studied at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania before relocating to Perry County in 2015 when she joined the Law Office of Kevin E. Prosser as the office manager.
Jo utilizes her strong organizational skills as manager and co-owner of The Pumpkin Vine Child Visitation Center. Jo has extensive experience in all areas of customer service, is a licensed notary, and is the face and heart of the Law Office. In her spare time Jo enjoys kayaking and fishing the local rivers and streams.
Roe joined the firm as an associate in January 2017. Roe has a keen interest in Environmental Law and is a staunch defender of animal rights. Roe is actively involved in her neighborhood watch, and in her spare time enjoys gardening, treasure hunting, and paleontology.
